SUMMARY:Common Waters: One Ocean Many Voices
DESCRIPTION:Arch Enemy Arts Presents “Common Waters: One Ocean Many Voices” — An Ocean Advocacy Art Exhibition Benefiting PangeaSeed \nPhiladelphia\, PA — Arch Enemy Arts is honored to announce Common Waters: One Ocean Many Voices\, a charitable exhibition on view June 5 through July 12\, 2026 at Arch Enemy Arts\, located at 109 Arch Street in Old City Philadelphia. A portion of exhibition proceeds and visitor donations will directly benefit PangeaSeed\, the nation’s only arts-based ocean advocacy organization. \nPresented during the semi-quincentennial of the United States’ founding\, Common Waters brings together more than 50 contemporary artists from around the world to explore humanity’s relationship with the ocean through the lens of the seven UNESCO Ocean Literacy Principles. Artists were invited to create original works that reflect\, interpret\, or challenge how we understand the sea’s role in climate\, culture\, biodiversity\, and global interconnectedness. \n“At a moment when the United States is reflecting on 250 years of history\, COMMON WATERS invites us to look outward rather than inward\,” says Tré Packard\, Founder and Executive Director of PangeaSeed. “The ocean doesn’t recognize borders\, yet it holds us all accountable. By bringing together international artists through the lens of ocean literacy\, this exhibition asks a simple but urgent question: how do we care for what sustains us all?” \nWhether addressing rising sea levels\, environmental stewardship\, maritime history\, or the ocean’s influence on everyday life\, the exhibition encourages viewers to consider the profound impact waterways and oceans have had on our nation’s past\, present\, and future.\nThe show opens with a public First Friday reception on Friday\, June 5\, 2026 from 5pm–9pm. Admission is free and open to the public. Donations are welcomed in support of PangeaSeed’s conservation initiatives. \nExhibition Dates: June 5 – July 12\, 2026\nOpening Reception: Friday\, June 5\, 2026 | 5pm–9pm\nLocation: Arch Enemy Arts\, 109 Arch Street\, Philadelphia\, PA 19106\nGallery Hours: Wednesday–Friday 10am–4pm | Saturday–Sunday 11am–5pm\nAdmission: Free and open to the public \nFor inquiries\, opportunities\, images\, or additional information\, please contact:\ninfo@archenemyarts.com

SUMMARY:The Ocean Breathes Station
DESCRIPTION:At the historic railway station of Amsterdam Beach in Zandvoort\, artist Margot Berkman invites visitors into a poetic world inspired by the sea. Through bronze sculptures\, intricate drawings\, and monumental hanging soft sculptures\, her work explores the beauty\, mystery\, and vulnerability of our oceans. Each piece reflects years of research into marine life\, seaweed\, currents\, and humanity’s connection to water. The studio-gallery offers a unique opportunity to experience contemporary art in an extraordinary setting and to acquire original artworks directly from the artist. A visit is an inspiring journey into the depths of the underwater world and a memorable destination in Zandvoort.
