Schools and youth organizations, join us for a free virtual screening of the award winning documentary, MICROPLASTIC MADNESS, followed by a Q+A with the movie's student heroes and the directors. Be inspired to take action for World Oceans Day!

MICROPLASCTIC MADNESS is an award winning documentary that tells the story of 56 fifth graders from Red Hook, Brooklyn - a community on the frontline of the Climate Crisis - whose action on plastic pollution morphs into extraordinary leadership and scalable victories. The film follows these young heroes as they take on the roles of citizen scientists, community leaders, and activists, bridging timely issues of plastic pollution and environmental justice with the global climate crisis. Told through a refreshing urban youth lens, this story is igniting a youth led plastic-free movement in schools everywhere!

With stop-motion animation, heartfelt kid commentary, and interviews of experts and renowned scientists who are engaged in the most cutting edge research on the harmful effects of microplastics, this alarming, yet charming narrative, conveys an urgent and positive message.
