Celebrating World Oceans Day at the 18th World Meteorological Congress

June 07 2019 @ 9:00 AM - June 12 2019 @ 6:00 PM

World Oceans Day 2019 falls in the middle of the 18th World Meteorological Congress, the World Meteorological Organisation’s major decision-making conference held every 4 years held at the Centre International de Conventions in Geneva. This year, oceans feature strongly on the Congress Agenda, as do gender perspectives; so it is an opportunity to weave the World Oceans Day theme throughout the session, raising awareness of inclusive approaches to working with our oceans to WMO’s 193 members.
