Life Below Water is a group exhibition from 5 June – 26 June that was developed by Jo Stacey and Michael Pope, that explores how North Queensland artists interpret and respond to the ocean and Great Barrier Reef as a source of artistic inspiration. Curated artists include: Marion Gaemers and Lynette Griffths, Jordan Wyles, Jo Stacey, Sue Luxon, Anne Cole, Lisa Ashcroft, Robert Crispe, Luke Duffy and Grumpy Turtle with an essay by Harriet Spark.

Life Below Water is funded by the Regional Arts Development Fund, a partnership between the Queensland Government and the Townsville City Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.

Launch: 5:30 – 6:30 pm WED 8 June 2022. Official launch to coincide with World Oceans Day.

PechaKucha Talks: 6:30 pm – 9 pm WED 8 June 2022. Ocean themed talks with PechaKucha Townsville.
