In commemoration of the anniversary of the Mesoamerican Reef System and the Tulum Agreement, INAPESCA, Mares Naturalia, Restore Coral, Mares de México, and Fundación Mía Sustentable will hold a forum where multisectoral actors will gather with the aim of developing a regenerative aquaculture strategy for the Mayan reef.

In alignment with the Implementation Strategy for a Sustainable Ocean Economy in Mexico.

The event will take place over 3 days (March 10th, 11th, and 12th) in Hotel Mía Reef, Isla Mujeres, and will include workshops and presentations on coral monitoring and restoration, effective, inclusive, and sustainable multilateral actions to address climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution, strategic partnerships, consortium building, and coordination at the subnational level, as well as investment opportunities in ocean finance.
