Ocean : SOUND | Envelop Stream at the Action for the Oceans event

11 June

10:00 pm

Selina Hotel and Virtual

518 W 27th street, New York and Envelop SF, San Francisco
Introducing Ocean, a new immersive soundscape that will premiere on June 11, created in celebration of the United Nations World Oceans Day and the Envelop SF community, Peace Boat US and Parties4Peace  🌊

“Ocean is an immersive soundscape that connects us to the life-giving waters of our planet. Created by Christopher Willits and Ryan Kleeman , this sonic journey incorporates hydrophone recordings, whale song, and music inspired by the sea. Music composed by Christopher Willits and Willits + Ryuichi Sakamoto weaves through the mysterious underwater world that is so often on the periphery of our environmental awareness. As we listen and feel the sounds of our oceans, we have an opportunity to connect deeper to our vital aquatic ecosystems that are in great need of our protection”
This event will be held as part of the Action for the Oceans – a hybrid exhibition to celebrate UN World Oceans Week. We look forward to seeing you there at Selina Chelsea NYC Hotel on Friday, June 11 and for those who want to tune in, you can visit the Envelop Sound link below. ⠀
