#LoveOurOceans

The Sunshine Coast Conservation Association has hosted our World Oceans Day events since 2016. In 2021, we teamed up with RhizomeUP! Media and the Green Films Series to create a week long World Oceans Day Festival.

The Festival runs from Sunday June 4th to Saturday June 10th, 2023. All events are FREE.

The program includes online and in person feature length and short films including engagements with filmmakers. Throughout the week we host a series of inspring Nemo Talks focused on marine conservation initiatives in our region. Every year we also coordinate and promote local marine education and conservation activities

We gratefully acknowledge that our work takes place in the territories of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, shíshálh, Tla’amin, Klahoose and Homalco First Nations.
