4ocean is the international, for-profit, social enterprise addressing ocean plastic pollution. We hire captains and fishermen to perform daily ocean and coastline cleanups in and around their local communities in Florida, Bali, and Haiti. We also engineer and invest in technology that prevents plastic and other marine debris from entering the ocean.

Our ocean cleanup operation is funded entirely by consumers who purchase our products, which include bracelets made with recycled ocean plastic and glass recovered by our employees. By transforming ocean plastic into valuable raw materials, our goal is to create a new economy that supports the reclamation and repurposing of ocean plastic on a global scale while reducing demand for virgin plastic in the manufacturing supply chain.

In addition to cleaning the ocean, we also advocate for sustainable business solutions and legislation that decrease the overconsumption and overproduction of single-use plastic.

Through our public awareness campaigns, community cleanup events, and educational presentations, we educate individuals, businesses, and governments on the devastating impact ocean plastic has on the environment, wildlife, and humanity and provide the information, tools, and inspiration they need to adopt a sustainable lifestyle and help create a better future — 4 the ocean™.
