III Jornada Día Mundial de los Océanos

Mundus maris te invita a participar de la III Jornada Día Mundial de los Océanos, que tendrá lugar el viernes 7 de junio a las 13 horas en el Auditorio Urquiza de la Universidad de Belgrano (Zabala y Villanueva), Ciudad de Buenos Aires.  
Se entregarán certificados de asistencia y de participación en taller. Inscripción libre y gratuita en www.terracuranda.org/dmo19. Cierre de inscripción: 31 de mayo. 
Disertantes: Dra. Alejandra Volpedo (INPA), Dr. Gustavo Lovrich (CADIC), Dra. Patricia Morales (Universidad de Lovaina), Dr. Aníbal Seleme (FAPBIO), Mg. Gustavo Fernández Protomastro (Ecogestionar srl), Lic. Rocío Pazos (becaria doctoral CONICET, ILPLA), Lic. Gabriel Blanco (Jefe de observadores a bordo, INIDEP), entre otros.

  • To provide a space where specialists in different ocean aspects share their knowledge to a wide public, including youth.
  • To give audiencie the chance to participate in a workshop-contest where they should propose a solution to a problem related to the oceans and the SDGs.

Chesapeake Bay Research and Management: Progress and Future Challenges

The Chesapeake Research Consortium / Chesapeake Community Modeling Program (CCMP) seeks to improve observational and modeling tools specific to the Chesapeake Bay and its surrounding environment by fostering collaborative, open source research. The purpose of the seventh biennial Chesapeake Community Research Symposium is to identify and showcase existing observational and modeling research efforts and decision support tools using data.
