Come celebrate World Oceans Day with Impact Travel NYC! Join us for an intimate discussion on how ocean conservation is taking place right in the heart of New York City. We'll be hosting a pre-World Ocean’s Day Happy Hour on Friday, June 7th at Sugarcane Raw Bar & Grill in DUMBO, Brooklyn.
Hear about NYC's local Billion Oyster Project, a conservation project centered around restoring a billion oysters in the New York Harbor by 2035 through reef construction. Sugarcane Raw Bar & Grill will explain how the local restaurant industry is supporting BOP's efforts and helping to restore oysters and reefs. Billion Oyster Project’s mission is to restore the local marine ecosystem, which will ultimately result in cleaner water and greater biodiversity.
The networking and happy hour session will follow the discussion at the bar. Your admission ticket includes one complimentary signature beverage.
We hope to see you there!
