Las zonas costeras e insulares, son unas de las más vulnerables a los impactos del cambio climático, el aumento del nivel del mar, la acidificación, el incremento en la temperatura del agua de los océanos entre otros. Colombia desde el año 2000 abordó estos temas con el proyecto Colombo-Holandés NCAP en el que se identificaron las 8 áreas más vulnerables de nuestras zonas marinas y costeras en el Caribe, Pacífico y Seaflower.

School Radio produced 50.07 minutes programmes in English and Telugu on the occasion of World Oceans Day-2020. 

A Talk Show was given by Dr. Belle Damodara Shenoy, Principal Scientist, National Institute of Oceanography, Regional Office, Visakhapatnam. He spoke all about Oceans and their importance. 

Turkish Marine Research Foundation has prepared a special online panel for the 8th of June, World Oceans Day. 30 scientists, captains, divers and marine workers will participate in the panel, which will take place in 4 sessions. In the sessions, topics such as biodiversity, climate change, species to be protected, problems of the marine sector will be discussed.
