The United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021–2030) will inspire young people to take action for our oceans and help build a more sustainable future. The Maritime Affairs Unit (MAU), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, People’s Republic of Bangladesh, and SAFE, in collaboration with cross-cutting Ministries, Departments, Agencies, NGOs, and UN bodies, will host the two-day Bangabandhu Bay of Bengal Festival 2024 at Cox’s Bazar as part of Bangladesh’s sovereign rights over 118,813 square kilometers in the Bay of Bengal and the UN Ocean Decade 2021-2030.
