Films and Documentaries:

There’s an ox on the trail – Due to the disappearance of Boi de Mamão, Maninha (Alana Meneghel) goes to Praia do Porto (Imbituba-SC) to look for him and ends up meeting some local characters who will give him clues about the possible whereabouts of the Enchanted . On this journey, she comes across the natural beauties of the Catalão Trail, which holds many stories and fantasies. The Boi’s disappearance threatens the existence of popular culture. Will Maninha be able to rescue him? Directed by Alana Meneghel and Libertu. Produced by José Fernando Souza Silvano, Alana Meneghel and Libertu

Where is the source? – The film is a tribute to all the washerwomen from Imbituba, who worked in Vila Alvorada (Aguada), in the regions of Praia do Porto, and contributed for 80 years in building the city’s history and in the social and cultural maintenance of the region, but which they do not have visibility within today’s society, in a mixture of fiction and documentary. Directed by Alana Meneghel and Libertu.

Lixo Mutante – Lixo Mutante is a documentary that invites you to reflect on an urgent environmental dilemma, waste. The work features testimonials from twelve specialists directly linked to the cause, such as collectors, academics, activists and artists who present possible paths for a new relationship between society, individuals and waste. The narrative is stitched together by a sensory performance that is communicated in a playful way, with the main character “Lixo Mutante” – an entire being made of waste that creates life and carries conflicting feelings, representing the “personification of garbage and the trashing of people. ”. Direction Dani Minussi & Adriano Caron, Production Natalia Cruz and Photography Pedro Macimo.
