Photography Exhibition Icy Sea

The virtual exhibition “Icy Sea” is an initiative of the MicrOcean Lab of the Oceanographic Institute of the University of São Paulo (IOUSP) and gathers 102 photographs of expeditions carried out in the Southern Ocean between 2013 and 2019. The exhibition aims to disseminate the polar sciences, showing extraordinary landscapes and Antarctic biodiversity. In addition, it is a contribution to the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021-2030) to disseminate Science, as well as the World Ocean Day and the National Oceanographer Day (celebration in Brazil).
