‘The Ocean: Life and Livelihoods’ – Panel Discussion

There will be an expert panel consisting of Mr. David Jones, CEO of ‘justoneocean’, UK., Dr. Atmanand, Former Director of NIOT and visiting Professor at IIT, Chennai; Dr. K.K. Vijayan, Former Director of Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture and Dr. A. Bijukumar, Professor of marine biodiversity, University of Kerala. The panel will be discussing various issues related to sustainability, biodiversity, ocean health with the marine science community at CUSAT and elsewhere. COVID-19 and the marine environment – will be a particularly interesting topic.
