World Oceans Day

The UNDP Accelerator Lab in Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean will be co – hosting an event to celebrate our Ocean and Ocean heroes with the Ministry of Environment and National Beautification, Green and Blue Economy, Export Barbados and partners, BARNUFO, BlueShell Pro. Under the 2022 UN World Oceans Day theme, Revitalization: Collective Action for the Ocean, the event will include the launch of the Accelerator Lab’s BlueDIGITAL project;  sustainable seafood tasting and traceability demo; as well as highlight collaboration of partners including the DigiFish launch; an award ceremony to celebrate our Ocean champions, live painting, book reading and BlueTalk which will feature seaside chats from Blue Economy innovators.
