How are we working to revitalize the ocean?

Since its creation in 2016, The SeaCleaners has been working to preserve the oceans and mitigate marine plastic pollution. To do so, our organisation develops preventive and corrective actions at sea and on land with four missions:

  • Collect floating plastic waste before it sinks or breaks down into microplastics.
  • Mitigate the problem at its source through public education and awareness initiatives, and onshore waste collection operations with volunteer teams.
  • Contribute to scientific knowledge through research and data sharing.
  • Support the transition to a circular economy by developing innovative and environmentally friendly technological solutions. This video presents all the marine plastic waste collections that The SeaCleaners is able to carry out: on land, at sea and underwater.
