Peace Boat US – Ocean Innovation Networking Dinner in London

On May 24, Peace Boat US will be arriving to London on our first voyage for the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development onboard our new ship, the Pacific World!

We are excited to announce the launch of a new series of programs as part of the UN Ocean Decade education onboard with an incredible network of youth traveling with us to the Arctic! We invite youth leaders from around the world who are working toward sustainability in their home communities, to travel onboard, engaging in capacity building, citizen science programs and experiences in the ports of call that enrich their understanding of marine science and climate action on a global scale.

On this voyage, we will sail from London, through the fjords of Norway to Iceland to study the impacts of climate change in the Arctic with youth leaders from the UK, St. Lucia, the Cook Islands, Panama, the United States, Colombia, Poland, Japan, Argentina, New Zealand and Palau!

Highlighting the theme of this year’s United Nations World Oceans Day: Planet Ocean, Tides are Changing, we seek to raise awareness about Life Below Water and encourage positive action for our blue planet.
