Having an awareness about the Ocean is an important matter for all of us,
The students at ELLIS Preparatory Academy have created three immersive art installation that reflects on the state of the worlds Ocean and its rich biodiversity as well as the threats that it faces.
The students collaborated, imagine and created these installation with the support and guidance from artists and educator Lionel Cruet; who’s practice focuses on topics that relate to ecological, geopolitical and technology through art.
The student that attend ELLIS Preparatory Academy located in the Bronx, NYC are immigrant young adults that have recently arrived in New York City. In this school they we work to further language, academic, cultural and social skills in preparation for today’s challenging world.
