    The 10th annual World Oceans Week will begin with a celebration of Ocean Legends past, present, and future, with Sylvia Earle and the Cousteaus. MONDAY 6:00 pm – Forging Ocean Legends Hosted by explorer Josh Bernstein, kick-off our 10th anniversary Oceans Week with multi-generational ocean legends: Indigenous ocean advocate Xiye Bastida, the grandchildren of Jacques Cousteau, and the great Sylvia Earle. Live at the Asia Society, right across from the Clubhouse on Park Avenue.     10 Chancery Lane Gallery is pleased to present We Are The Sea, a solo exhibition by Filipino artist Josephine Turalba, curated by Caroline Ha Thuc opening reception with the artist and curator on 3 June, 5-8 pm. Drawing inspiration from Pacific thinker Epeli Hauʻofa’s powerful declaration—“We are the sea, we are the ocean”—Turalba invites audiences to shift perspective: from land-bound isolation to an expansive, oceanic worldview in which no island stands alone and all beings are interconnected.
