Toc H World Ocean Day Celebration

On UN World Ocean Day 2024, our school is gearing up for an impactful program to raise awareness about the significance of the oceans and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We aim to involve as many students as possible to make a lasting impression.

During the event, preparatory grade students will transform into UN SDGs Super Heroes, embodying the spirit of sustainability and global cooperation. Their colorful costumes and enthusiasm will set the stage for the day’s activities.

Following this, the entire school community, consisting of 2000 children, will come together to take a solemn oath in honor of World Ocean Day and the SDGs. This collective pledge will signify our commitment to protect our oceans and strive towards achieving the sustainable development goals.

As part of our initiative to promote environmental stewardship, each student will receive spinach seeds along with a card highlighting the importance of oceans and the SDGs. This hands-on approach not only fosters a sense of responsibility towards the environment but also empowers students to take action in their own lives.

Through this comprehensive program, we hope to instill a sense of environmental consciousness and global citizenship in our students, inspiring them to become champions for a more sustainable future.
