10 Chancery Lane Gallery is pleased to present We Are The Sea, a solo exhibition by Filipino artist Josephine Turalba, curated by Caroline Ha Thuc opening reception with the artist and curator on 3 June, 5-8 pm. Drawing inspiration from Pacific thinker Epeli Hauʻofa’s powerful declaration—“We are the sea, we are the ocean”—Turalba invites audiences to shift perspective: from land-bound isolation to an expansive, oceanic worldview in which no island stands alone and all beings are interconnected. Oceans Week Wednesday will dive into the work being done to restore coral reefs and the real science behind one of the most popular (and maligned) species of the sea. Wednesday 5:00 pm – Coral Comeback Coral resilience is on the rise, thanks to the work of explorers like Ulrike Pfreundt & Aaron Hartmann. 6:30 pm – Great White Shark Night A species who needs no introduction, featuring JAWS legend Wendy Benchley, plus shark scientists Jasmin Graham and Greg Skomal.
