World Ocean Day Celebration

This year we are bringing back our in-person World Oceans Day Celebration!
We’ll have live music from DJ Sam Pulpo, lots of fun activities, a free BBQ and a raffle with the chance to win some incredible prizes.
On Saturday June 8, from 12-4pm, we will host booths from organisations including the SCCA, shíshálh youth Cedar Weaving, DFO, Oceanwise, Sunshine Coast Streamkeepers, Sunshine Coast Tourism and more.
We are very grateful to our prize donors, Vancouver Aquarium, Halfmoon Sea Kayaks, Pastime Games, Bitter End Marine Traders, Marinos Independent Grocer, Sechelt Fish Market, Coast Gravity Park, and Ocean Club Cafe!
Following our celebration we will be hosting a live screening of the documentary Deep Rising at the Sechelt Arts Centre from 7-10pm.
