Fujisawa Beach Cleanup

The SEGO Initiative’s Fujisawa Beach Cleaning Project, established in 2009, is a large-scale beach clean-up that aims to protect marine ecosystems and foster environmental awareness. Held twice a year along the Enoshima coast, the event promotes solidarity between local and international communities to remove ocean debris while promoting sustainability through its messages and actions. Like all our cleanups, the event on June 1st includes citizen science activities as a way to catalyze action for our ocean and climate.
